Max Media is a television and radio broadcasting company which owns or operates nine network affiliated television stations and seven FM radio stations. The television group includes three NBC, three FOX, two UPN and one WB station, covering six (50-110 MSA) markets, while the radio group is concentrated in two (30-50 MSA) markets. The Company was sold to Sinclair Broadcasting (NASDAQ: SBGI) in July 1998.
