Stimsonite is the leading manufacturer of raised reflective pavement markers used in highway delineation in the United States, and offers a broad line of reflective highway safety products for use in all areas of traffic control and roadway safety. The Company was acquired by Quad-C in August 1990 and was taken public in December 1993. Shares previously held by the Quad-C partnerships were distributed to their limited partners in December 1994, and Stimsonite was later acquired by Avery Dennison Corporation.
