Founded in 1989 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Quad-C is a private investment firm that specializes in investing in profitable businesses valued between $50 million and $500 million and growing them in partnership with management. Our transactions provide liquidity for owners, capital for growth and significant equity opportunities for key management. We provide long-term, patient capital to the owners and managers of middle market companies and seek to build value over a number of years, not overnight.

Financial Strength
We have invested in over 40 platform companies and completed more than 120 transactions, valued in excess of $5.0 billion. Our capital is provided by a number of well-known and respected financial institutions, endowments, pension funds, and high net worth individuals as well as significant capital from many of our prior management-partners as well as the Principals of Quad-C themselves.

Quad-C has partnered with dozens of owners and management teams to build their companies through both internal growth and add-on acquisitions. We are convinced that strong management is the key to business success. As such, the management teams in our transactions always have a meaningful ownership stake, as we believe this is the best way to align interests.
