Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia, Quad-C is a private investment firm investing in well-established middle market businesses valued between $75 million and $400 million. We act as the corporate development partner for our companies to assist in taking the business to the next level. Our transactions provide liquidity for owners, capital for corporate growth and significant equity opportunities for key members of management. We provide long-term, patient capital and seek to build value over a number of years, not overnight.

Financial Strength
We have invested in over 45 platform companies and completed more than 125 transactions, valued in excess of $5.5 billion. Our capital is provided by a number of well-known and respected financial institutions, endowments, pension funds, and high net worth individuals as well as significant capital from many of our prior management-partners and the Principals of Quad-C themselves.

Quad-C has partnered with dozens of owners and management teams to build their companies through both internal growth and add-on acquisitions. We are convinced that strong management is the key to business success. As such, the management teams in our transactions always have a meaningful ownership stake, as we believe this is the best way to align interests.
